The conflict between the Confederate Army of the South led by General Robert E. Lee and the Federal Troops of the North led by General Ulysses S. Grant resulted in many battles and great loss of life. This chess set is produced by popular request to illustrate the major players in this turbulent period of United States History.
These chessmen are made out of Polyresin, which is a crushed stone composite. It has the look and feel of stone, but the durability of a plastic. It is truly the best of both worlds.Specifications:
